Hannah and John's wedding was in August of 2014 and was one of my first weddings that I have had the pleasure of taking photos. Hannah is a dear friend of mine from high school (fellow homeschooler, secrets out haha) who is from Iowa. I met Hannah and her now husband John, at Thomas Aquinas' high school summer program in 2008 and have loved seeing their relationship grow over the years.
 I had begun my first week of teaching in 2014 and wasn't sure if I could make it out to southern California to attend their wedding. Hannah was looking for a photographer and while I was just working with my cropped sensor Canon Rebel and a 50mm, she asked if she could pay for my flight in exchange for photos.
 Hannah and John chose to have the wedding ceremony at their alma mater, Thomas Aquinas College's chapel. They are such a solid couple and being able to help document their wedding was such an honor. There was so much joy! They chose to have their reception at the Olivas Adobe Historical Park and it was filled with their loved ones, margaritas and the best taco bar I've ever had!
